Answer:

I believe it's one half.

Explanation:

I can't see the pedigree, but depending if the disease is recessive or dominantly expressed it will show how the disease will affect offspring. But overall, I think the chances would probably be 50% because each parent gives half of their genes to their offspring, meaning there is about a 50/50 chance for the disease to affect the child if only one of the parents in affected. (It still depends if the disease is recessive, if it is, then the person would probably be a carrier). Hope this helps!

Both glycerophospholipids and sphingolipid structures are asymmetrically distributed in the two layers of the phospholipid bilayer. Sphingolipids are membrane lipids that have a ceramide backbone while glycerophospholipid has glycerol present in its membrane lipids. Sphingolipids may or may not be present.

multicellular organisms have four levels of organization ranging from simplest to most complex. the simplest is the cellular lev
In-s [12.5K]

Answer:

The five levels of organization are:

  1. Cells
  2. Tissues
  3. Organs
  4. Organ Systems
  5. Organism

Explanation:

Five Levels of Organization:

Cells:

Cells are the fundamental levels of organization of living organisms. They are the basic structural and functional units of life. Cells are composed of different organelles that perform various functions and through division of labor, accomplish different cellular tasks. E.g, muscle cell, neuron (nervous system cells), nephron (specialized kidney cells) etc.

Tissues:

Cells that perform similar functions combine together to form tissues. For example, skeletal muscle tissue, cardiac muscle, vascular tissue etc.

Organs:

Organs are complex structures formed by the combination pf two or more types of tissues that perform specific but related functions. E.g, heart (pumps blood, contains cardiac muscle tissue), brain (conducts nerve impulses, contains neural tissue).

Organ Systems:

Organ systems are a combination of organs that perform related functions and work together to perform specific physiological functions. E.g, circulatory system (contains heart and circulatory system).

Organism:

This is the highest level of organization. An organism is a combination of cells, tissues, organs and organ systems that all work together to perform specific physiological functions.
