The value has decreased because the amount he gets in Canadian dollars has decreased for the exact same amount he has in yuan.
I.e. Before: 12000/6.64 = 1807.23 Canadian dollars
Present: 12000/6.78 = 1769.91 Canadian dollars

Consider the line y = x – 4.
FrozenT [24]

Answer:

A line parallel to the line y = x -4 would have a slope of 1.

A line perpendicular to the line y = x -4 would have a slope of -1.

Remember, parallel lines are lines that never intersect, which means that they cannot possibly have different slopes. A perpendicular line will <em>always</em> have the opposite slope as the first line, because the two lines must intersect at a 90 degree angle. The attached image shows how this works.

Hope this helps you out!

what is the maximum number of relative extrema contained in the graph of this function ? F(x) = 3x^4 - x^2 + 4x - 2
Mademuasel [1]

The maximum number of relative extrema of the given polynomial is; 3

<h3>How to find the maxima of a Polynomial Function?</h3>

When trying to find the maximum number of relative extrema of a polynomial, we usually use the formula;

Maximum number of relative extrema contained in a polynomial = degree of this polynomial - 1.

We are given the Polynomial as;

f(x) = 3x⁴ - x² + 4x - 2

Now, the degree of the Polynomial would be 4. Thus;

Maximum number of relative extrema = 4 - 1

Maximum number of relative extrema = 3

Volleyballs cost $22.00 each. The Athletic Director has $277.00 in her budget to spend on new volleyballs. There is a $13.00 shi
OLEGan [10]

Answer: The Athletic can other 12  volleyballs.

Step-by-step explanation:

If the director has $277 to spend then it means The director can spend at most $277.

Now one volleyball cost $22 and so we could represent the number of volleyballs you can buy by the expression 22x  and including the shipping fee,we will extend the expression to 22x + 13  Now since the Director can spend  up to $277 or less we can write the whole situation in a form of inequality as,

22x + 13 ≤ 277  Now solve for x to determine the number of volleyballs

          -13   -13

22x  \leq 264

x \leq 12
