Answer:

Gravity is often assumed to be the same everywhere on Earth, but it varies because the planet is not perfectly spherical or uniformly dense. In addition, gravity is weaker at the equator due to centrifugal forces produced by the planet's rotation.

You are given a box of 100 silver dollars, all facing "heads" up. You are instructed to shake the box 3 times; after each shake,
NemiM [27]

Answer:

Explanation:

Assume that after each shaking, a silver dollar has an equal chance of "head" or "tail" up.

There will be likely 100/2 = 50 dollar coins with "heads" up. Removing them leaves 50 coins.

Again after the second shakes, 50/2 = 25 coins will likely be "heads" up. Removing them leaves 25 coins.

After the third shakes, approximately 25/2 = 12.5 coins will be "heads" up. Of course there is no 0.5 coin. Rounding up you likely get to keep 13 dollar coins.

If you travel for a 3.5 hours at a speed of 65 mph how far will you go
erica [24]
Think about it. 65 mph means you go 65 miles in one hour, so in 2 hours you go 65×2 miles, in 3 hours you go 65×3 miles, and in 3.5 hours you go 65 × 3.5 miles.

Hope this helped

Describe what projective tests are, and then explain how projection is used in the thematic apperception test (TAT) and the Rors
NeTakaya

Answer:

Projective tests are a type of personality test that is designed to have a person react to ambiguous stimuli to potentially reveal hidden emotions that are projected onto the test. In the Rorschach Inkblot Test a person is shown a series of ten black and white cards and asked to report the first thing that comes to mind. The participant then says what came to mind and may project some emotions onto the inkblot that were previous unmentioned. The person administering the test then records aspects of their reactions like gestures and tone of voice. In a thematic apperception test or TAT a person is shown an ambiguous scene and asked to create a story around it. The person can then reveal emotions that they did not previous mention in the story by stating how the characters feel and how the story ends. In a projective test a lot is up for interpretation based on the individual and how they are feeling at that time making the test lack both reliability and validity because of no grading scale being set in stone and results being inconsistent.
