Answer:

Total Area = 108 cm^2

Step-by-step explanation:

Area Trapezoid

<em><u>Givens</u></em>

b1 = 6cm

b2 = 12 cm

h = 6cm

<em><u>Formula</u></em>

Area = 1/2 (b1 + b2)*h

<em><u>Solution</u></em>

Area = 1/2 (6 + 12)*6

Area = 1/2 18*6

Area = 54 cm^2

Triangle

<em><u>Givens</u></em>

b = 12 cm

h = 15 - 6

h = 9

<em><u>Formula</u></em>

Area = 1/2 * b * h

<em><u>Solution</u></em>

Area = 1/2 * 12 * 9

Area = 54 cm^2

<em><u>Total Area</u></em>

Total Area = 54 + 54 = 108 cm^2

Hello from MrBillDoesMath!

Answer:

108 cm^2

Discussion:

The area of the logo  =

area of Trapezoid on top (I)  + area of triangle on bottom (II)

I  = (1/2) h ( b1 + b2)            h = altitude, b1, b2 = bases

  = (1/2)  6  ( 6  + 12)

  = (1/2) 6 ( 18)

  = 54

II  = (1/2) b h

   = (1/2) (12) ( 15 - 6)               => altitude of triangle = 15 - 6 NOT (1/2) 15

   =  54

I + II= 54 + 54 = 108

Thank you,

MrB

Help help help it is simple one
algol [13]

Answer:

3^{ -x+3}

Step-by-step explanation:

We need to simplify out the given exponential expression . The given expression to us is ,

\rm\implies \dfrac{\dfrac{1}{3}}{3^{x-4}}

We can use the <u>Law of </u><u>Exponents</u> to simplify the given expression . Recall that ,

\rm\implies \red{\dfrac{a^m}{a^n}= a^{m-n}}

Note that , we can write ,

\rm\implies \dfrac{1}{3}= 3^{-1}

Therefore our expression becomes ,

\rm\implies \dfrac{ 3^{-1}}{3^{x-4}}

Simpify using the Law of Exponents ,

\rm\implies 3^{ -1 - ( x - 4 )}

Open the brackets in exponent ,

\rm\implies 3^{ -1 - x +4 }

Simplify to get final expression ,

\rm\implies \boxed{\quad \blue{ 3^{-x+3} \quad}}
