Answer:

The evidence from the text which supports the idea that Lady Macbeth questions her husband's ability to kill the king in Act 1 Scene v in "Macbeth" is:

"What thou wouldst highly,

That wouldst thou holily;

wouldst not play false,

And yet wouldst wrongly win."

Explanation:

Lady Macbeth finds her husband to be incapable of killing King Ducan as he was very kind and generous from his heart. She knew it very well that although Macbeth was ambitious he had a soft corner for the King.

Read the excerpt from the poem "Queen of the Cats":
Maslowich

Answer:

b) Metaphor

Explanation:

Using one object to symbolize another is known as a metaphor. One of my favorite lines from the poem "Queen of the Cats" describes how the cat's eyes would literally "spark with firelight fantasies" as she gazed into the flames.

Because the cat's imagination is represented by the firelight, this is a metaphor. Poets may employ metaphors to help their readers envision their work in a new manner. Firelight serves as a metaphor in this poem for the cat's eyes, which seem bright and full of imagination.

Underline all the adjectives, including the articles, in the following paragraph.
kirill [66]

Answer:

The model railway has metal tracks and seventeen cars. The train includes a locomotive and a red caboose. It has a miniature station with an office. The train goes through a dark tunnel. A steel bridge and realistic trees complete the scene.

Explanation:

Articles describe the nouns that they precede. In English, there are only three articles: the, a, and an. However, the three are not interchangeable; rather, they are used in specific instances. An adjective describes or modifies a noun. It provides further information about a noun, indicating things like size, shape, color, and more. Adjectives can also modify pronouns. They answer questions like, “Which one?,” “How many?,” “Whose?,” and “What kind?”

I bolded your adjectives and underlined your articles so that you wouldn't get confused.

insens350 [35]
The poet compared imagination to a soaring bird because imagination is limitless, it can do anything and go anywhere, much like a soaring bird, who has the freedom and capabilites to do anything. Both are completely free of bounds.
