Matt invested $1500 into a stock of his choice. After two years, he had received

For this question, the time given confuses me. I know the rate of return is just total return divided by divided by investment, Assuming that Matt received the $400 in dividends as cash payouts, and they weren't reinvested into buying shares of the stock, then his total return over two years was $500, Now, if Matt's dividends were reinvested into the stock - and if you have a 401(k) or IRA, that's what usually happens - then his ROI would have been only 6% because he only made a profit of $100 on an investment of $1500. Note: In the real world, in current market conditions, Matt probably would have got about a 5% return on a good stock, and Bella would have received about 0.05% on a savings account.

hope this helped you ;)

BartSMP [9]

Answer:

30 mL

Step-by-step explanation:

Mr. Allen needs 100 mL of a solution that is

 • 30% vinegar,
 • 15% lemon juice,
 • 55% water.

Thus, there are

100\cdot 0.3=30\ mL of vinegar,

100\cdot 0.15=15\ mL of lemon juice,

100\cdot 0.55=55\ mL of water.

The formula for the volume of a box is: Volume = L*W*H We know that the length is 10 cm. We know that the width is twice the height, so W = 2H. Then our volume equation is: Volume = 10*2H*H Volume = 20*H^2 Since H^2 is in the equation, this is a quadratic equation.

A bank loaned out $28,500, part of it at the rate of 14% annual interest, and the rest at 4% annual
Flauer [41]

Answer:

$15,000 was invested at 14% per year, and $13,500 was invested at 4% per year.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that a bank loaned out $ 28,500, part of it at the rate of 14% annual interest, and the rest at 4% annual interest, and the total interest earned for both loans was $ 2,640.00, to determine how much was loaned at each rate you must perform the following calculations:

28,500 x 0.14 + 0 x 0.04 = 3,990

20,000 x 0.14 + 8,500 x 0.04 = 3,140

15,000 x 0.14 + 13,500 x 0.04 = 2,640

Therefore, $ 15,000 was invested at 14% per year, and $ 13,500 was invested at 4% per year.
