Holloman AFB became the primary site for development and testing of guided missiles.

Explanation:

Holloman AFB was an air force that was located in Alamogordo situated in New York. Holloman AFB  was mainly developed to test various missiles. In that air force , they also tested that plane that was operated without a pilot. It was also one the oldest development center that continued for twenty five years. The Holloman AFB  was commanded by Air Combat Command. Later this development center was renamed as Air Force Missile Development Center in the year 1957 on 1st of September.
