Don’t understand ..............
siniylev [52]
Im not sure if its perimeter or area so ill write both.

The area of it is 2,211.84 because its basically saying that you have to divide the inches(25/2.5 and 16/2.5) then multiply by 6 and thwn multiply together to get the area of feet.

The perimeter is just the same thing but adding sides. Which is 192

Isabella is deciding between two parking garages. Garage A charges an initial fee of
bearhunter [10]

Answer:

i. A = 4 + 3t .......... 1

  B = 12 + 2t .......... 2

ii. The hours required would be 8 hours.

Step-by-step explanation:

The charges at each of the garages can be expressed as;

i. For garage A,

A = 4 + 3t .......... 1

ii. For garage B,

B = 12 + 2t .......... 2

where A is the amount charged at garage A, B is the amount charged at garage B, and t is the number of hours.

To determine the number of hours parked that would make the cost of each garage the same.

Let:

equation 1 = equation 2

4 + 3t = 12 + 2t

collect like terms

3t - 2t = 12 - 4

t = 8

The hours that would make the cost of each garage the same is 8 hours.

1. The following is a parallelogram. Find x and y using the given information.
Tom [10]
Given : ABCD is a parallelogram
            AB =5x-2y
             DC = 4
           AD = y
           BC =5-x

AB = DC ( opposite sides of parallelogram are equal)
5x -2y = 4 (1)

AD = BC
y = 5-x

Putting the value of y in equation 1

5x-2y =4
5x-2(5-x) =4

5x -10+2x =4

7x = 14

x = 2

Putting the value of x in eqution 2

5-x = y
5-2 =y
3 =y
