I am assuming when you write 27x5 u mean "27 times x to the power of 5".

therefore, your answer is 9x3-11x2-7x

Answer:

\frac{f(x)}{g(x)}=(9x^3-11x-7x

Step-by-step explanation:

Given  function  f(x) = 27x^5-33x^4-21x^3 and g(x)=3x^2

We have to find f of x over g of x that is \frac{f(x)}{g(x)}

Consider ,

f(x) = 27x^5-33x^4-21x^3 and g(x)=3x^2

To find  \frac{f(x)}{g(x)}

Substitute the values for functions, we get,

\frac{f(x)}{g(x)}=\frac{27x^5-33x^4-21x^3}{3x^2}

Taking 3x^2 common from numerator, we get,

\frac{f(x)}{g(x)}=\frac{3x^2(9x^3-11x-7x)}{3x^2}

Thus, 3x^2  gets cancel, we get,

\frac{f(x)}{g(x)}=9x^3-11x-7x

Thus, value of function  f of x over g of x  is 9x^3-11x-7x

14.4% of 72.5 is what number?
Elina [12.6K]
This is very simple to do. Take out your calculator and insert 14.4. However, move the decimal two places to the left to get .144, and multiply it by 72.5 to get your answer of 10.44.

Given:

A figure of a parallelogram.

The vertex angles are (12b+8)^\circ,(5b+2)^\circ,2a^\circ.

To find:

The values of a and b.

Solution:

We know that the pairs of consecutive angles of a parallelogram are supplementary angles. It mean their sum is 180 degrees.

(12b+8)^\circ+(5b+2)^\circ=180^\circ       (Supplementary angles)

(17b+10)^\circ=180^\circ

17b+10=180

Subtract 10 from both sides.

17b=180-10

17b=170

Divide both sides by 17.

b=\dfrac{170}{17}

b=10

Now,

(5b+2)^\circ=(5(10)+2)^\circ

(5b+2)^\circ=(50+2)^\circ

(5b+2)^\circ=52^\circ

And,

(5b+2)^\circ+2a^\circ=180^\circ       (Supplementary angles)

52^\circ+2a^\circ=180^\circ

2a^\circ=180^\circ-52^\circ

2a^\circ=128^\circ

Divide both sides by 2.

a^\circ=\dfrac{128^\circ}{2}

a^\circ=64^\circ

a=64

Therefore, the value of a is 64 and the value of b is 10.

Determine the quotient, q(x), and remainder, r(x) when
Vinvika [58]
ANSWER

Quotient:

q(x) = 4 {x}^{2} + 3x + 2

Remainder:

r(x) = 3x + 1

EXPLANATION

The given functions are

f(x) = 12 {x}^{4} + 21 {x}^{3} + 31 {x}^{2} + 21x + 9

and

g(x) = 3 {x}^{2} + 3x + 4

We want to find the remainder and quotient when f(x) is divided by g(x).

We perform the long division as shown in the attachment.

The quotient is

q(x) = 4 {x}^{2} + 3x + 2

The remainder is

r(x) = 3x + 1
