Since ∠1 is 63 than ∠2 is 63 too because they are alternate interior. To find ∠3 you subtract 180 by the measure of ∠2 because both of these angles create a straight line.

180 - 63 = ∠3
117 = ∠3

Hope this helps :)

I’m sort of confused. Do you mean how many cups of fruit juice she’ll get if she uses 2 cups of pineapple juice? If so it should be 3.

Solve the inequality x^2 - x - 12 <0
pychu [463]

Answer:

X<12

Step-by-step explanation:

x² - x - 12 <0 any number without a power is to power 1.

x² - x^1 - 12<0

x^1 - 12 <0

x - 12 <0 any to the power 1 is that same number example p^1=p

x - 12 + 12<0 + 12

x<12

Bobby Borrowed 24,000 from two different banks to start a business One Bank charge the equivalent of 4% simple interest in the o
anastassius [24]

Answer:he borrowed $22000 from bank 1.

He borrowed $2000 from bank 2

Step-by-step explanation:

Let x represent the amount of money that he borrowed from bank 1.

Let y represent the amount of money that he borrowed from bank 2.

Bobby Borrowed 24,000 from two different banks to start a business. This means that

x + y = 24000

The formula for simple interest is expressed as

I = PRT/100

Where

P represents the principal

R represents interest rate

T represents time

Considering the money borrowed from bank 1,

P = x

R = 4%

T = 1

I = (x × 4 × 1)/100 = 0.04x

Considering the money borrowed from bank 2,

P = y

R = 5.5%

T = 1

I = (y × 5.5 × 1)/100 = 0.055y

if the total interest after 1 year was $990, it means that

0.04x + 0.055y = 990 - - - - - -1

Substituting x = 24000 - y into equation 1, it becomes

0.04(24000 - y) + 0.055y = 990

960 - 0.04y + 0.055y = 990

- 0.04y + 0.055y = 990 - 960

0.015y = 30

y = 30/0.015 = $2000

Substituting y = 2000 into

x = 24000 - y, it becomes

x = 24000 - 2000

x = 22000

Each of the students at piano recital takes about 8 3/4 minutes to introduce themselves and play 3 songs. There are 9 students p
Tomtit [17]

For this case we have that each student takes 8 \ frac {3} {4} minutes to perform and play 3 songs. Then, we convert the mixed number to a fraction:

8 \frac {3} {4} = \frac {4 * 8 + 3} {4} = \frac {32 + 3} {4} = \frac {35} {4}

Thus, each student takes\frac {35} {4} minutes.

If there are 9 students in the recital then we have:

9 * \frac {35} {4} = \frac {315} {4} = 78.75 minutes.

Thus, the recital lasts at least 78.75 minutes.

Answer:

The recital lasts at least 78.75 minutes.
