Hi,

Pretty simple: if a result of a multiplication is equal to 0, then each factor is equal to 0.

y = f(x) = (x -- 5)(x + 2)² = 0, so:

x₁ -- 5 = 0 ⇒ x₁ = 5.

(x + 2)² = 0 ⇒ x₂ = x₃ = --2, for --2 we have state of multiplicity = 2.

Green eyes.

Answer:

\large\boxed{3.\ \dfrac{1}{625t^{12}}}

Step-by-step explanation:

\text{Use}\\\\(ab)^n=a^nb^n\\\\(a^n)^m=a^{nm}\\\\a^{-n}=\dfrac{1}{a^n}\\---------------\\\\(5t^3)^{-4}=\dfrac{1}{(5t^3)^4}=\dfrac{1}{5^4(t^3)^4}=\dfrac{1}{625t^{(3)(4)}}=\dfrac{1}{625t^{12}}
