<span>The answer is one. In a plant life cycle, there are two distinct stages. A gametophyte is haploid and a sporophyte is diploid whereby one sporophyte generation occurs between one gametophyte generation. A mature sporophyte produces haploid spores which grow into the haploid gametophyte. The haploid gametophyte produces haploid gametes which after the fusion create a zygote which develops into the diploid sporophyte.</span>

The final electron acceptor(s) associated with photosystem i is/are _____.
MariettaO [177]
NADP
Photosystem 1 is a photochemical reaction complex that uses energy from the light to produce high energy carriers NADPH and ATP. Chlorophyll complex p700 have being identified as the photo-oxidation reaction Centre in photosystem 1. However, NADP is known to be the final electron acceptor in photosystem 1.

The researchers introduced a small RNA complementary to a portion of the mRNA encoding protein A into the Brec-MUT cells growing
Sonbull [250]

Answer:

Delivered small RNAs can inhibit protein A production through the RNA interference (RNAi) mechanism, and thus impairs angiogenesis

Explanation:

The pregnancy-associated plasma protein-A is a protease enzyme involved in the formation of new blood vessels by increasing insulin-like growth factor I (IGF-I) bioavailability. Moreover, small RNAs (<200 nucleotides in length, generally 18 to 30 nucleotides) are non-coding RNA molecules that function in RNA silencing through the RNA interference (RNAi) pathway. Small RNAs are widely used in molecular biology laboratories because they can be delivered into specific cells in order to silence target mRNAs such as, in this case, the mRNA encoding protein A, by complementary base pairing and thereby inducing translational repression. In consequence, mRNAs complementary to delivered small RNAs are silenced through RNAi pathways, i.e., by cleavage of the target mRNA and/or mRNA destabilization.

At the end of meiosis ll, each of the haploid sex cells had only half the number of chromosomes as the original diploid cell. Wh
tester [92]

Answer:

The cells at the end of meiosis II must have half the number of chromosomes because, if they didn't have, the reunion of both gametes with diploid number of chromosomes for example, in gametes would form twice the number chromosomes.
