The Wife's tone while she elaborates the wedding night is very direct and conversational which deeply connects with the readers. Pacing is another variation utilized by the author in the narrative. At some instances in the scene, the Wife's narrative goes exuberant and enthusiastic.

However, her  direct tone helps readers to understand the chronological order of the narration and engages them in understanding the plot and action more thoroughly. Chaucer has used the iambic pentameters and has willingly broken it to establish the entry of drama in the tale.

Answer:

The wife`s tone as she narrates the knight`s wedding night is a straightforward tone, she is not angry about her husband rudness, on the contrary she is calm and collected. She also uses a reflective and understanding tone as she understand the truth very well and she is able reflect the real side of things. She influence reader`s view since she act very patient and showing no feelings, with this the autor suggests that it is natural for women to act as objects for mans pleasure.

AnnyKZ [126]

Answer:

The agent probably knew about the murderer, because the accused only bought a ticket to return from the trip.

Explanation:

When the friend bought the travel tickets, he did not buy two tickets back, but only one, that is, he knew that his friend would not return, although he did buy two one-way tickets. Thus, this individual becomes the main suspect in the murder, since only the two friends were on the trip and it is necessary to investigate all the possibilities of his friend's death.

In this case, the police contacted the travel agent who passed all the ticket purchase information between the two friends.
