Note-taking is a technique consisting on recording relevant and outstanding information about a topic which might be lost. Besides, this activity demands on the part of the audience to pay attention and participate in certain way. During the process of taking notes; the person is actively listen to the lecturer, picks up core concepts, makes connection between ideas and improves his/her understanding of a topic as he/she includes his/her own words in the text or a diagram.
