Answer:

The reflex arc follows this sequence of events

1. sensory receptor activation

2. sensory neuron activation

3.information processing

4. motor neuron activation

5. effector response

Explanation:

Reflex arc is the pathway of nerves during a reflex action. An example of a reflex arc is when we accidentally touch a hot object. First, the receptor in the skin detects a stimulus in this case the change in temperature. Second, the sensory neuron transmit the electrical impulses to the Central Nervous System for information processing. Then relay neurons connect sensory neurons to motor neurons. Third, motor neurons sends electrical impulses to an effector wherein the effector produces a response ( muscle contracts to move the hand away from the hot object. This happens in a split of seconds.

the element nitrogen has an atomic number of 7 and an atomic mass of 14 how many protons, neutrons and electrons are in a atom o
Nat2105 [25]

Answer: By definition, if  the atomic number  = 7 , then there are 7 protons, 7 electrons, and 8 neutrons!

Explanation:

The atomic number is by definition the number of protons, positively charged particles, contained within the atomic nucleus. So if there are 7 protons, there MUST be 7 electrons, 7 negatively charged particles. Why? Because matter is electrically neutral, and positive and negative particles must be equal.

Electrons have negligible mass; the mass number depends on the number of protons contained within the nucleus, PLUS the number of neutrons. Given that we have  15  N , there must be 8 neutrons contained within the nucleus.  does this help?

How are viruses spread from cell to cell?
abruzzese [7]

Answer:

Replicate itself into the cell host

Explanation:

Visus is made from a protein capsule and inside a fragment of RNA. Sometimes they also have some feet of filament to get attached to the cellular membrane.

Once attached, the virus injects its RNA into the cytoplasm and travels to the nucleus and insert this fragment of RNA into the cell DNA and start making copies of itself.

When the cell is full of virus, the membrane breaks and releases all the new virus to the neighbor cells, and the process starts again.
