Reproduction will be highly affected.

Since there are two oviducts one will be removed as a result of the ectopic pregnancy.

Hence, there will be a defect in the carrying of the ovum from the ovary to the uterus. There will be delivery of the ovum only in the the unaffected oviduct. This can lead to non-fertility.

Ectopic pregnancy is a condition in which there is an implantation of the zygote in a location other than the the uterus.

Where does an ectopic pregnancy happen? It's considered an ectopic pregnancy whenever the fertilized egg implants outside of your uterus. The egg is meant to travel down the fallopian tubes and imbed itself into the wall of your uterus, where it can begin to develop.
