A beaker is used only to contain liquids and solids or to carry out chemical reactions never for measuring accurate volumes since they are only good for approximation. An Erlenmeyer flask is used to store liquids and solids and the graduated volumes marked are only approximates. Test tubes are never used to measure the volume of any liquid. Lastly, graduate cylinders are calibrated containers used specifically for measuring volumes of liquids. From the choices given the only tool that can be used is a graduated cylinder.
