The classic systematic approach to the physical examination of the child is to begin at the head and proceed to toes. Painful or frightening procedure should be left until last. 6 month old infant able to lift chest and head while on stomach holding the weight on hands , parents should take care of him.

Parents should asses child should be smiling , laughing and babbling away. To help them learn the language , read stories together every night. Infant at this age starting to recognize the people and things around them.
