  • Stay hydrated by drinking water- Exercising in warm/hot weather leads to the individual sweating profusely, that is they lose a lot of water in their bodies. If the individual does not hydrate themselves this could damage the body tissues and cells.
  • Time your exercise during warm weather-Spending too much time in the heat exercising can raise the body core temperature, causing stress to the body. This will result in the body response through heatstroke, heat syncope, and heat cramps just to name a few.
  • Fitness level- Be aware for your fitness level, and do not over extend yourself during hot days.
  • Do not exercise in the heat when you have chronic illnesses such as hypertension and diabetes.
