It depends on how many kids are in the other grades

If there are 4 ninth graders total, and 3 of them don’t like action, the probability of a randomly selected ninth grader not preferring action is 3/4.
If there are more than 4 ninth graders total - the survey suggests that approximately 3/4 ninth graders do not prefer action. We can then approximate the probability that a randomly selected ninth grader does not prefer action as 3/4.

PLEASE HELP ME FAST!!!! (It's about y-intercept) This is the Last one I have to answer then I am at a 100 I've been working on t
Elanso [62]

To find a y-intercept, you set x=0 and solve for y.

    y = 16(0) + 41

    y = 41

PS

If the equation is in slope-intercept form like this, the y-intercept is always the number at the end, the "b" from y=mx+b.

What is the equation of the line? (Answer choices & graph attached.)
soldi70 [24.7K]

Answer:

The answer to your question is: first option

Step-by-step explanation:

Data

A (2, 5)

B (-2, -3)

Formula

Slope = m (y2 - y1)/(x2 - x1)

Line   (y - y1) = m(x - x1)}

Process

            m = (- 3 - 5) / (-2 - 2)

            m = -8 / -4

           m = 2

Substitution in line equation

         (y + 3) = 2 (x + 2)   Line equation

What is the answer???
Mama L [17]

Remark

There must be 12 such boxes. Each one has a volume of 4 * 4 * 4 = 64 in^3

Proportion

1 box is 64 in^3

12 boxes = x

1/12 = 64/x           Cross multiply

x = 12 * 64

x = 768 in^3

Note: We are not concerned with how to stack these boxes. We only want to know the volume.
