X = 9+4 = 13
y = -8 - 15 = - 23

Answer:

(13,-23)

Step-by-step explanation:

A sqaure ABCD was translated using the rule (x,y→(x-4,y+15) to form A'B'C'D'. Now the coordinates of point D in the iamge are (9,-8) therefore pre image of point D is

x-4=9

x=9+4 (by using property when a number go form left to right side then sign changes of a number)

x=13( by using property of addition)

similarly, we find value of y

y+15=-8

y=-8-15

y=-23

hence, the coordinate of D in pre iamge is (13,-23).

Find the area of the triangle. please explain/show your work. thank you <3
bonufazy [111]
BC = a
AC = b
ACB = C

To find the area of such triangle we are going to use the formula;

1/2 * a * b * sine C

Substitute values.

1/2 * 4 * 4 * sine 45
= 5.65^2

Therefore the area of the triangle is 5.65^2

Samantha measured two of the angles in PQR and found that they had measures of 65° and 70°. Then, she measured two of the angles
Vlad [161]
The two triangles are similar.

The angles of a triangle sum to 180°.  Using the known angles in the first triangle, we find the missing angle measure:
180-(65+70) = 180-135 = 45

We do the same for the second triangle:
180-(65+45) = 180 - 110 = 70

Any two triangles that have all 3 angles congruent is similar by AAA.
