Answer: D. California Online Privacy Act .

Explanation:

The first state law in the nation to require commercial websites and online services to post a privacy policy, the California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA) went into effect in 2004. It was amended in 2013 to require new privacy disclosures regarding tracking of online visits.

CalOPPA applies to any person or company in the United States (and conceivably the world) whose website collects personally identifiable information from California consumers. CalOPPA requires the website to feature a conspicuous privacy policy stating exactly what information is collected and with whom it is shared; it also requires the operator of the website or online service to comply with the site’s privacy policy. Those who fail to do so are at risk of civil litigation under the state’s Unfair Competition Law.

Who does CalOPPA apply to?

CalOPPA applies to any person or entity that owns or operates a commercial website or online service that “collects and maintains personally identifiable information from a consumer residing in California who uses or visits” said website or online service. CalOPPA does not apply to Internet service providers or similar entities that transmit or store personally identifiable information for a third party.

Filip, a mentally competent 70-year-old, fills out a document stating that if he is terminally ill and mentally incapacitated, h
earnstyle [38]

Answer:

Living will.

Explanation:

<u>A living will is a legal document that contains the end-of-care wish of the patient who is suffering from a mental disability</u>. In this will, the person expresses and spells out his/ her wishes about her care if or whenever incapacitated.

Filip's act of filing the document that states his wish of not to be administered with <em>"heroic cure-oriented treatments" </em>if his condition deteriorates or he becomes <em>"terminally ill and mentally incapacitated"</em> reveals he has done his living will. This allows mentally ill patients to have a say about their fate and the treatment they want whenever or if they ever need it in the future.

A fixture is an object that formerly was personal property but has become real property. Of the following four rules for determi
kkurt [141]

Answer:

C). Intention of the parties.

Explanation:

As per the question, the most dominant rule would include the 'intention of the parties' that would assist in determining if an object has turned a fixture or not. An item is usually attached to a <u>property only with the permission/intention of the party and their agreement to make it permanent as then only it is considered as a fixture.</u> The other options would play a subservient role in converting a personal property into a fixture while the intent plays the primary role. Therefore, <u>option C</u> is the correct answer.

During the course of a week, McDonald's has enough time to hire or layoff workers, but it does not have enough time to expand it
gulaghasi [49]

Answer: Mcdonald is operating in a short run

Explanation:

The short run is a concept where some factors of production are fixed and  others are variable.  it expresses the idea that a business will behave differently given the   length of time it has to react to certain circumstances.

In most cases of short run, Quantity of labor is variable but the quantity of capital and production processes are fixed making  the only available business decision is whether to employ or lay off workers number off. because it is easier to hire and lay off  workers than to cause a positive  change in areas of  production process or to change location.(:

McDonald's having enough time to hire or layoff workers, but  not having  enough time to expand its kitchen or add an additional seating area shows that Mcdonald is operating in a short run business where labor is variable but capital and other production processes are fixed.
