The slope is -3 and the Y intercept is -4
This is because since the equation is in standard form you have to change it to slope intercept form. Like so;
3X + Y = -4
-3x          -3x
   
            Y- intercept
Y = -3X - 4 
     Slope

The slope would be 3x and your y-intercept would be -4. Why? Because remember the equation is y=mx + b(m-moves by, b-where your slope begins)

11.28 + 11.28/ 2 = $16.92 (overtime pays a rate of time and a half)

$451.20(40hours) +  $101.52(6hours overtime) = $552.72

4. Paul received a $15 tip on a meal that cost $120. What percent of the meal cost was the tip?

15 / 120 = .125
.125 * 100 = 12.5%

answer: percent of the meal cost was the tip was 12.5%

5. Carly earns a weekly salary of $720 plus 4% commission. Last week, she sold $3250 worth of products. What was her gross pay?

4% = .04
$3,250  * .04 = $130 (commission on sold products)

$720  + $ 130 = $850
answer:  her gross pay was $850
