Given :

She run 3 miles 1 st day .

She run 5 miles 2 nd day .

Then she runs 7 miles per day .

To Find :

If she total runs 99 miles , for how many days has Carla been running 7 miles.

Solution :

The relation between total miles run and number of days she run 7 miles is :

D=7n+3+5

Putting , D = 99 miles , we get :

7n+8=99\\\\n=\dfrac{91}{7}\\\\n=13

From 13 days she is running 7 miles in a day .

The picture below shows a right-triangle-shaped charging stand for a gaming system:
Setler79 [48]

This question is incomplete because it lacks the diagram of the right angles shaped charging stand.

Find attached to this answer, the appropriate diagram.

Answer:

3(tan 50°)

Step-by-step explanation:

To solve this question, we would be using the Trigonometric function called Tangent.

tan θ = opposite side/ adjacent side

θ = 50°

Opposite side (Height)= Side AC = Unknown

Adjacent side = Side BC = 3 inches

Hence,

tan 50° = Side AC/ Side BC

tan 50° = Side AC / 3

Cross multiply

tan 50° × 3 = Side AC

3(tan 50°) = Side AC

Therefore, the expression shows the height, AC, of the charging stand is

3(tan 50°).

What is the slope of the line passing through the points (1, 2) and (5, 4)?
brilliants [131]

Answer:

slope = \frac{1}{2}

Step-by-step explanation:

Calculate the slope m using the slope formula

m = (y₂ - y₁ ) / (x₂ - x₁ )

with (x₁, y₁ ) = (1, 2) and (x₂, y₂ ) = (5, 4)

m = \frac{4-2}{5-1} = \frac{2}{4} = \frac{1}{2}
