A diverse population would be more resistant to these factors because, the organism number of species in a population can accommodate for losses by predators, resistant to disease because of the high tolerance range each member possesses, different immunity to different diseases and a more diverse population tend to out-compete other invasive species gaining dominance.

Answer and explanation;

-A diverse community would be more resistant to disease, predation, and invasion because it would be a bigger diversity of genes, which means that the chance of disease would be more likely to spread in a different area than in a diverse population.

-Diversity is expected to increase the resilience of ecosystems. A diverse community would be more resistant to disease because of simple biology. The more sources for possible resistance the better the heterogeneous pool will be at resisting disease.

-High diversity strengthens a community and prevents invasion of the introduced predator. After a gradual loss of native species, the introduced predator can escape control and the system collapses into a contrasting, invaded, low-diversity state.

What the function if animal cell divide without centrioles?
Vesna [10]

Answer:

spindle fibers act as guides for the alignment of the chromosomes as they separate later during the process of cell division.

Explanation:

They play a role in mitosis of animal cells and plant cells are able to reproduce without them.

Research however has shown that mitosis can take place in animal cells after centrioles have been destroyed. ... In higher plants mitosis takes place perfectly satisfactorily with microtubules forming spindle fibres but without the help of centrioles.

A root is absorbing water from the soil, which route will the water travel inside the root?
WARRIOR [948]
Root hairs and all active transport mineral ions are used by plants to enable water absorption. The route of the movement of water inside the root would be illustrated through this sequence:Epidermis (outside layer of the roots) --> cortex (ground tissue layer just between the epidermis and the root's vascular tissue) --> endodermis(a layer outside the vascular tissue;responsible for mineral uptake of plants) --> stele( tissues combined inside the cortex) --> xylem (can be primary and secondary, both originates from provascular tissue and vascular cambium,maturing to its inside, respectively) --> phloem (can be primary and secondary too, both originates from provascular tissue and vascular cambium,maturing to its outside, respectively --> cambium(a meristem originating from an apical meristem, gives rise to secondary xylem and secondary phloem.
