Answer:

The South tried to Secede from the United States.

Explanation:

The beginning of the American Civil War, encompasses the flow of events, which was basically started on 20th December, 1860 and gone upto June 8 of the following year. From such events the word "Secession" got renewed, although it was first time used in 1776 when South Carolina demanded separation as the continental congress took decision to charge tax on colonies.

But during late 17th century nearly 11 states from Lower and Upper South isolated their relationship from the Union. The reasons were many like South was supportive of slavery in order to fetch out more labors and follow development by ignoring other's rights.

Gennadij [26K]
The correct option is A.
Adam Smith's opinion on laissez-faire economics holds that government should contribute very minimal intervention to business entities. Under this set up, the government allow private firms to make their own decisions about what to produce, how to produce and for whom to produce. One of the benefits of laissez-faire is that it discourages inefficiency and corruption of maximum government participation in business. It also encourages entrepreneurs to have incentive to work hard and create products that consumers wants.
