First of all we will subtract 3w from both sides of our equation.

$5w-3w+9z=2z+3w-3w$

$5w-3w+9z=2z$

Now let us subtract 9z from both sides of our equation.

$5w-3w+9z-9z=2z-9z$  

$5w-3w=2z-9z$

$(5-3)w=(2-9)z$

$2w=-7z$

Now let us divide both sides of our equation by 2.

$\frac{2w}{2}= \frac{-7z}{2}$

Upon cancelling 2 from left side of our equation we will get,

$w=\frac{-7}{2} z$

Therefore, we can see that $w=\frac{-7z}{2}$.
