Proponganda was important for the war efforts during World War I because people needed to passionate about the country they were fighting for. This is also known as Patriotism.

A host of factors was made possible with propaganda which was a norm during the World War I.

They include:

Mobilization of detestation against the enemy

It helped to enlighten and make their people to see the reasons and importance of the war.

It helped in garnering allegiance and cooperation of neutral countries to be on their side during the way and provide the necessary support.

It also helped to strengthen the support of countries who were already allies of themselves.
