Answer:

The concrete operational stage

Explanation:

The child presented with the two balls will be able to correctly solve the problem in the concrete operational stage: A child shows this ability to "preserve" or conservate things mentally.

The conservation is a mental process that involves exposure to situations like watching the two balls, where one remains in its original form while the other is rolled, and thus being able to mentally manipulate the object.

In concrete operational phase, child is able to think logically, following rules. It is also characterized by overcoming the inadequate mental operations present in the previouvs phase- the preoperational.

In Concrete operational thinking children are in the third stage of cognitive development, Piaget believes children in this stage follow logical reasoning in situations where changes in appearances are present and yet they are able to solve the problems.

explain in your own words how someone applies the skill of inferencing when reading social studies text
bazaltina [42]

Answer: A lot of history is untold, or is half true and half real (there’s propaganda and yellow journalism). Primary sources are more accurate but if the author is not objective and is biased, it will make his or her words less trustable. Also, secondary sources, which are sources from people who analyze the primary sources, are based on the interpretation of the author and his way of thinking/opinion. This makes the documentaries that actually survived the passing of time to modern day not as reliable just looking at one source. When looking at multiple sources, they will have different points of view and it is based on our own inferences to figure out what is the closest and accurate answer based on evidence from different sources.

Answer:

The correct answer is c) Narcissistic personality disorder.

Explanation:

Narcissistic personality disorder is characterized by extensive patterns of behaviors that people exhibit. A person with narcissistic personality disorder is overly interested in power and success, tends to have too much admiration for himself, lack of empathy, is excessively interested in his appearance and uses manipulation and charm to achieve his goals.

This disorder is usually observed in adulthood when the individual has formed his personality and is diagnosed according to the criteria of the DSM - IV and ICD-10.

The narcissistic personality disorder has been little studied since there is limited information because the people who present it do not attend therapy regularly.

People adapt to the disorder and see it as typical situations of their personality, so they do not consider needing professional help.

For example, in the case of Nathan, he is a person excessively interested in his appearance, and it is very relevant for him to succeed. Above all, he thinks he has privileges; because of these characteristics, it can be said that Nathan presents the personality disorder narcissistic.
