10 miles ーー> 65 minutes
1 mile ーー> 65 minutes ÷ 10 = 6.5 minutes

∴ Chau takes 6.5 minutes to run 1 mile.

(b)
16 pound ーー> $9
1 pound ーー> $9 ÷ 16 = $0.5625

∴ Diane paid $0.5625 per pound of rice.
