Answer: Na_2CO_3 or Sodium carbonate.

              KMnO_4 or Potassium permanganate

Sodium ion carries 1 + charge whereas carbonate ion carries overall charge of -2. So for every carbonate ion, two sodium ions combine to balance the charges and thus form a stable compound, Na_2CO_3

Potassium ion carries 1 + charge where as permanganate ion carries overall charge of -1. So for every permanganate ion, one potassium ion combines to balance the charges and thus form a stable compound, KMnO_4

The predicted formulas are shown in the attached image.

Ca(NO3)2 + HCl --> HNO3 + CaCl2
aliina [53]
Calcium nitrate is limiting reactant, since it says there’s excess HCl. So you must use the mass of calcium nitrate in your calculation (see picture below):

we know from Newton’s 2nd Law of Motion that the force on an object is equal to the mass of the object times the acceleration of
ANTONII [103]

The acceleration of the ball was 0.6 m·s⁻².

F = ma

a = F/m = 5 N/9 kg × (1 kg·m·s⁻²/1 N) = 0.6 m·s⁻²

Balance the following chemical equation
Na+I2->NaI
jenyasd209 [6]

Balanced equation : 2Na+I₂⇒2NaI

Further explanation

Equalization of chemical reactions can be done using variables. Steps in equalizing the reaction equation:

• 1. gives a coefficient on substances involved in the equation of reaction such as a, b, or c, etc.

• 2. make an equation based on the similarity of the number of atoms where the number of atoms = coefficient × index (subscript) between reactant and product

• 3. Select the coefficient of the substance with the most complex chemical formula equal to 1

Reaction

Na+I₂⇒NaI

  • Give coefficient :

aNa+bI₂⇒NaI

  • Make an equation :

Na, left=a, right=1⇒a=1

I, left=2b, right=1⇒2b=1⇒b=0.5

Equation becomes :

Na+0.5I₂⇒NaI x 2

2Na+I₂⇒2NaI

Why do isotope decay
BaLLatris [955]

Instability

Explanation:

Isotopes decays because they are unstable. Stable isotopes do not decay.

  • For every atomic nucleus, there is a specific neutron/proton ratio.
  • This ratio ensure that a nuclide is stable.
  • For example, fluorine F, is 10/9 stable.
  • Any nucleus with a neutron/proton combination different from its stability ratio either too many neutrons or too many protons will become unstable.
  • Such nuclide will split into one or more other nuclei with the emission of small particles of matter and considerable amount of energy.
