Answer:

C≈27 feet

Step-by-step explanation:

A=πr²

A/π=r²

√A/π =r or –√A/π=r (refused)

then r =√(A/π) =√(58/π) =4.297829403 feet

C=2πr=2π(4.297829403)=27.00405856≈27 feet

<u>Answer:</u>

Circumference of required circle = 27.0021 feet.

<u>Solution:</u>

Given that area of circle = 58 square feet

We need to find the circumference

Circumference of circle = 2\pi r where r is radius.

We don’t have radius in given information but we do have area of circle.

So first need to calculate radius of a circle from given area.

Area of circle = \pi r^{2}

where “r” is radius of circle.

58=\pi r^{2}

r^2= (58 \times 7)/22=18.4545

So we get

r = square root of 18.4545 = 4.2958 feet

Circumference of circle = 2 \mathrm{\pi r}

= 2 (\frac{22}{7}) (4.2958) = 27.0021 feet.

Hence circumference of required circle = 27.0021 feet.

A particle moves along the x-axis so that its velocity in feet per second at time x, in seconds, is modeled by the quadratic fun
Katyanochek1 [597]

For this case we have the following equation:

y = 2x ^ 2 - 10x + 12

Where, we have the following variables:

x: time in seconds

y: speed in feet per seconds

For the initial velocity, we evaluate x = 0 in the given equation:

y = 2 (0) ^ 2 - 10 (0) + 12\\y = 12

Therefore, the initial speed is 12 feet per second.

Answer:

The particle's initially velocity is 12.
