Assume that MTA Sandwiches sells sandwiches for $2.85 each. The cost of each sandwich follows:
mixas84 [53]

Answer:

a. profit is lower

b. lowest price $2.29

Step-by-step explanation:

a. We have to analyze how this especial order affect the profit of the company

Profit = Revenue- Total cost = P(x) =(Px * Q)-(FC + vc*Q)

Regular production profit= $2.85 x  18,400 units -$2.60  x  18,400 units=

Regular production profit=4600

Production with special order= (P1 * Q1)+(P2 * Q2)-(FC + vc*Q)

P2=  price of special order

Q2= quantity of special order

Q= Q1 +Q2

Production with special order= (P1 * Q1)+(P2 * Q2)-(FC + vc*Q)= $2.85 x  18,400 units +$1.85 x  800 units - $18,400- $1.60 x 19600=

Production with special order= 51888 +1480- $18,400- 30720

Production with special order= 4.248‬

b.Production with special order= (P1 * Q1)+(P2 * Q2)-(FC + vc*Q) =4600

=51888 +(P2 * 800)- $18,400- 30720 =4600

=(P2 * 800)= 4600- 51888 + $18,400+30720

P2=1.832/800 = 2,29

nydimaria [60]
Well. If you get 29% of 5 cars that is 145%. This was a little confusing but I am defiantly sure it is correct. I like to use simpler numbers to see if I am doing the work right. So I said if he has a 50 % likely hood to find a car that was expired and had 1 car. It would be 50 percent. Now if he had 2nt got it the first time it would be a 100 % chance to find the car expired . Hope I didn’t co fuse you more

A student would like to find the height of a statue. The length of the statue's right arm is 33 feet. The student's right arm
Xelga [282]

Answer:

The approximate height of the statue is 87.945 feet.

The approximate height of the statue is less than the actual height i.e. 88 feet 2 inches or 88.167 feet by (88.167 - 87.945) = 0.222 feet

Step-by-step explanation:

A student would like to find the height of a statue. The length of the statue's right arm is 33 feet.

The student's right arm is 2 feet long and her height is 5\frac{1}{3} = 5.33 feet.

Now, the length of the right arm and the height must be proportional for the statue and the student.

So, \frac{\textrm {Height of the statue}}{\textrm {Height of the student}} = \frac{\textrm {Length of right arm of the statue}}{\textrm {Length of right arm of the student}}

⇒ \frac{H}{h} = \frac{L}{l}

⇒ H = \frac{L \times h}{l} = \frac{33 \times 5.33}{2} = 87.945 feet.

So, this approximate height of the statue is less than the actual height i.e. 88 feet 2 inches or 88.167 feet by (88.167 - 87.945) = 0.222 feet (Answer)
