The gravity from the moon and some from the sun brings the tides up, because the moon's gravitational force is strong enough to pull some water up.
I think simple diffusion is a former of active transport
The mixture would be :
1. Homogeneous; dissolving followed by filtration and distillation
salt dissolve in water and will be the filtrate and chalk will be the residue in the filter paper
