To allow Germany to pay reparations to France Great Britain was the goal of the Dawes Plan which was presented by the Dawes Committee, chaired by Charles G. Dawes in 1924.

The plan was initiate to resolves the issue of First World War’s repayment which Germany had to pay. It ended the crisis in European diplomacy and Treaty of Versailles after the World War I.

Dewas received ‘Nobel Peace prize’ for his work and solving the issue of Germany debt in 1925.

The plan gave Germany more time to pay the reparations and it agreed to an American loans to Germany.

One the other hand, a finite number of values is available in discrete variables. For example, a variable measuring the gender of the subjects is discrete because it contains only two possible values: man/woman.
