Answer:

The required drawings is shown in figure 1, 2 and 3.

Step-by-step explanation:

Consider the provided information.

Let say x is the number of circles in the drawing.

y is the number of triangles in the drawing.

we know that

r= \frac{x}{y}

r= \frac{2}{3}

See the figure 1

In the figure 1  we have  2 circles and 3 triangles:

 x=2  and  y=3

The ratio will be :

r= \frac{2}{3}

See the figure 2

In the figure 2  we have  4 circles and 6 triangles:

 x=4  and  y=6

The ratio will be :

r= \frac{4}{6}=\frac{2}{3}

See the figure 3

In the figure 2  we have  6 circles and 9 triangles:

 x=6  and  y=9

The ratio will be :

r= \frac{6}{9}=\frac{2}{3}

The soccer team collected $800 at a car wash fundraiser. They charged $5.00 for small vehicles and $10.00 for larger vehicles. T
Katyanochek1 [597]

5x + 10y = 800

y = 50

10y = 10*50 = 500

800 - 500 = 300

300/5 = 60

x = 60

5(60) + 10(50) = 800

60 small vehicles were washed in total

The surface area covered by a rectangular playground is 200 yards. The width of the playground is twice as long as it's length.
Anna71 [15]

Answer:

The length is 10 yards and the width is 20 yards of the playground.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given,

Area of the rectangular playground = 200 yards.

Solution,

Let the length of the playground be x.

Then the width of the playground is 2x.

Now, According to the formula of area of rectangle;

Area\ of\ rectangle =length\times width

On substituting the values, we get;

x\times 2x=200\\\\2x^2=200\\\\x^2=\frac{200}{2}=100\\\\x^2=100\\\\x=\sqrt{100}\\\\x=10\ yards\\

So the length of the playground is 10 yards.

Since the width is twice of the length.

So width = 2x=2\times 10=20\ yards

Hence the length is 10 yards and the width is 20 yards of the playground.
