Answer:True

Step-by-step explanation:

Given Fran earn \$ 225 per week working 15 hr

i.e. in 7 days he earn \$ 225

in 1 day \frac{225}{7}

i.e. in 15 hr he earns \frac{225}{7}

in 1 hr  \$ \frac{15}{7}

he has to earn \$600extra to make \$1400

i.e. he needs to work \frac{600\times 7}{15}hr extra

For 20 weeks he needs to work 2 hr extra

i.e. total 17 hr per day to save \$ 1400

she needs to work atleast 17 hr

\dfrac{1}{2 \sqrt{7} + 3 \sqrt{3}  }

= \dfrac{1}{2 \sqrt{7} + 3 \sqrt{3} } \times  \dfrac{2 \sqrt{7} - 3 \sqrt{3}}{2 \sqrt{7} - 3 \sqrt{3}}

=\dfrac{2 \sqrt{7} - 3 \sqrt{3}}{(2\sqrt{7})^2 - (3\sqrt{3})^2}

=\dfrac{2 \sqrt{7} - 3 \sqrt{3}}{28 - 27}

=\dfrac{2 \sqrt{7} - 3 \sqrt{3}}{1}

=2 \sqrt{7} - 3 \sqrt{3}

Solve the system by graphing or using a table.<br> 2x+4y=12 <br>x+y=2
Molodets [167]

Answer: x = -2 and y = 4

Step-by-step explanation:

We have given a system of equations

2x + 4y =12   ...........(1)

and

x + y = 2         .............(2)

Now to plot them in graph we need to find the points of the above linear equations .

From equation 1  ,we get

4y=12-2x\\\Rightarrow\ y=\frac{12-2x}{4}\\ \Rightarrow\ y=3-\frac{x}{2}\\\text{Put x=0, then} \\y=3-\frac{0}{2}=3\\\Rightarrow\ \text{Put x=6}\\y=3-\frac{6}{2} =3-3=0

So get the points (0,3) and (6,0).

From equation 2 ,we get

y=2-x\\\text{Put x=0}\\y=2-0=2\\\text{Put x=2}\\y=2-2=0

So we get the points (0,2) and (2,0).

So after plotting these points we get two lines intersecting at (-2,4).

Therefore our solution is x=-2 and y= 4.
