Which of the following equations represents a line that passes through the points

Mathematics

Answer:

both are right

Step-by-step explanation:

okay so you already know that the y-intercept is 4 since a point is (0, 4)

but not to find the slope you can use the y2-y1/x2-x1

16 - 4/ -8 - 0 = 12/-8 = 3/-2

or

4 - 16/ 0 - (-8) = -12/8 = -3/2

it doesnt matter which you plug in first

so we know the slope (m) is -3/2 and the y-intercept (b) is 4, now to put it into an equation:

y = mx + b

y = -3/2x + 4

also im going to put this in slope-intercept form

3x + 2y = 8

-3x           -3x

2y = -3x + 8

/2         /2

y = -3/2x + 4

y = -3/2x + 4 = y = -3/2x + 4

so both answers equal each other, meaning they both are right

Which expression is equivalent to StartRoot StartFraction 25 x Superscript 9 Baseline y Superscript 3 Baseline Over 64 x Supersc
MAVERICK [17]

Answer:

\displaystyle \frac{5x}{8y^{4}}\sqrt{x}

Step-by-step explanation:

<u>Simplfy in Algebra </u>

We have the following expression

\displaystyle E=\sqrt{\frac{25x^9y^3}{64x^6y^{11}}}

Simplifying like factors in the denominator and numerator

\displaystyle E=\sqrt{\frac{25x^3}{64y^{8}}}

All the factors are perfect squares except x^3, thus we rewrite:

\displaystyle E=\sqrt{\frac{25xx^2}{64y^{8}}}

Taking the square root of all the perfect square factors:

\boxed{\displaystyle E=\frac{5x}{8y^{4}}\sqrt{x}}

Can someone help me please ?
Natali [406]
Hi there!

To start, let's find the area of the bases. Since we're finding the area of two triangles, we don't need to put a 1/2 in front of our equation. This leaves us with 24 x 5 for the area of our bases. Now, we need to find the lateral area. We have two congruent rectangles and one that is different. Using the provided measurements, this leaves us with 2(5 x 13) + 1(20 x 24). Next, we need to add the lateral area to the base area. This leaves us with the surface area, which is 730ft^2. Also, the perimeter of the base is 50ft, the height is 20ft, and the base area is 120ft.

Hope this helps!! :)
