I need to find X and Y to make this shape a parallelogram. Can someone help me? (geometry student)
aliya0001 [1]

Answer:

x=52

Step-by-step explanation:

One of the properties of parallelograms is that angle A = Angle C

5y-54 = 3x eq1

Another property of parallelograms is that angle A + angle B = 180 degrees

5y-54+2y-60 = 180

7y = 180+114 = 294

y = 42

Putting this value in eq1

3x = 5*42-54 = 210-54 = 156

x = 52
