Answer:

-7, -2, 4, 5

Step-by-step explanation:

Integers with a dash in the front of them signify a negative. With negative numbers, the higher the value of the accompanying number, the lower value it has as a negative number, so, of course the negative integers would go from the "least" end of the spectrum. Because 7 has a higher positive value than 2, it has a lower negative value, putting -7 on the lower end, following it with the -2. As 5 has a higher positive value than 4, 5 is put on the highest end on the spectrum, with 4 right behind it. With all of these integers settled, we can organize the numbers in the order of -7, then -2, then 4, then 5.

Step-by-step explanation: To write these integers from least to greatest, first draw a number line and graph each of the integers

In the image provided, notice that I've only labeled every other unit on the number line. This  is a labeling technique that we can use to keep things from getting too crowded on the number line.

Now, let's graph our integers.

Integers to the left are always less than integers to to the right. So in this problem, we can see that -7 < -2 < 4 < 5.

We need the radius to find the surface area. Since we have the circumference we can use that to find the radius.

C = 2πr
23 = 2(3.14)r
23 = 6.28r
23/6.28 = r
3.66 = r

Now use the radius to find the surface area.

SA = 4πr²
SA = 4(3.14)(3.66)²
SA = 168.33

Surface area is C. 168 cm²

Hope this helps :)

Jerry is charged for $2 for every day he is late paying his cable bill. Which integer correctly shows how much Jerry owes if he
Agata [3.3K]

Answer:

24

Step-by-step explanation:

we know that for every day he is late, he is charged 2 dollars. Since he is 12 days late, we can simply do the following:

$2 × 12 days = $24

A bakery made some cookies. 1/2 of the cookies were placed in large boxes. 3/7 of the cookies were placed in small boxes . The r
saul85 [17]

Answer:

378 cookies

Step-by-step explanation:

Let total amount of cookies be y

Let amount of cookies in each small box = x

let amount of cookies in each large box = x + 32

Therefore total amount of cookies in 18 small boxes = 18x

Total amount of cookies in 7 large boxes = 7(x+18) = 7x + 126

Fractional amount of cookies in small & large boxes = 1/2 + 3/7 = 13/14

Total amount of cookies in  small & large boxes = 18x + 7x + 126 = 25x + 126

Fractional amount of small cookies equals amount of small cookies in 18 boxes.

3/7y = 18x------------------Eqn 1

From eqn above y = 42x

Equating fractional sum & total sum =

25x + 126 = (13/14)y

Upon cross multiplication

350x + 1764 = 13y---------Eqn 2

Substituting y = 42x into equation 2

350x +1764 = 13(42x)

1764 = 546x - 350x

1764 = 196x

x = 9 cookies

Therefore total number of cookies = 42 × 9 = 378 cookies
