The answer is B.
A is not even true generally, species won't stray from their own(especially just for environment) unless under drastic circumstances.
C is somewhat true but not as specific as B, speciation has to do with interbreeding and barriers related to it.
D is obviously just the opposite of what happens with speciation. It is due to either biological or geographical barriers inhibiting breeding that causes speciation to occur.

A special group of chemical substances that are used to treat diseases caused by microbes are called?
Sunny_sXe [5.5K]

A special group of chemical substances that are used to treat diseases caused by microbes are called antibiotics.

An antibiotic is a chemical compound that is toxic to other bacteria and is produced by a living thing, usually a bacterium. In a complex environment like soil, organisms undoubtedly use antibiotics to regulate the growth of competing microbes. Soil microorganisms frequently produce antibiotics.

Bacteria and fungi are microorganisms that produce antibiotics that help prevent or treat disease. With the invention of penicillin in 1941, antibiotics gained widespread recognition. Since then, they have fundamentally changed how bacterial infections in humans and other animals are treated.

why is important to use an organism with a recessive phenotype in a cross with an organism of unknown Genotype
bogdanovich [222]

Answer:

One of the central conclusions Mendel reached after studying and breeding multiple generations of pea plants was the idea that "[you cannot] draw from the external resemblances [any] conclusions as to [the plants'] internal nature." Today, scientists use the word "phenotype" to refer to what Mendel termed an organism's "external resemblance," and the word "genotype" to refer to what Mendel termed an organism's "internal nature." Thus, to restate Mendel's conclusion in modern terms, an organism's genotype cannot be inferred by simply observing its phenotype. Indeed, Mendel's experiments revealed that phenotypes could be hidden in one generation, only to reemerge in subsequent generations. Mendel thus wondered how organisms preserved the "elementen" (or hereditary material) associated with these traits in the intervening generation, when the traits were hidden from view.

Is interphase G1 part of cell division Y or N
irga5000 [103]

Answer:

Most cells of adult mammals spend about 24 hours in interphase; this accounts for about 90%-96% of the total time involved in cell division. Interphase includes G1, S, and G2 phases. Mitosis and cytokinesis, however, are separate from interphase

A scientist is comparing the outer layer of an onion cell to the outer layer of a human skin cell. What is unique about the oute
LenaWriter [7]
An onion is a plant so it would have a cell wall, but a human cell is an animal cell so it doesn't have a cell wall. I'm not sure if that's the type of answer you're looking for though.
