Answer:
The maximum number of children = 16

Explanation:
The greatest number of students who can get the fruit in this way (equally) will be equal to the highest common factor between the number of bananas and the number of apples.

Number of bananas = 128 = 2 * 2 * 2 * 2 * 2 * 2 * 2
number of apples     = 176 = 2 * 2 * 2 * 2 *11

We can note that:
the highest common factor = 2 * 2 * 2 * 2
the highest common factor = 16

This means that the maximum number of children to get both equally is 16

Hope this helps :)

NEED HELP WITH THESE
faltersainse [42]

Step-by-step explanation:

1 .f(x)=x^{2}-x+1

   f(-1)= (-1)-(-1)+1

   f(-1)= 1+1+1

      = 3

3.f(x)=x^{2}-x+1

 f( 1)=(1)-1+1

  f( 1)=1-1+1

        =1

5. f(x)=x^{2}-x+1

    f(3)=(3)^{2}-3+1

         = 9-3+1

          =7

2. g(x) = 5 - 3x

 g( -8)=5-3(-8)

g( -8)=5+24

        =29

4.g(x) = 5 - 3x

g(5)=5-3(5)

 g(5)=5-15

       =-10

6.g(x) = 5 - 3x

   g(-3)=5-3(-3)

 g(-3)=5+9

         =14

Jack is using a hose to fill a cylinder-shaped dunk tank with water. If the dunk tank is six feet tall and has a diameter of six
nydimaria [60]

57 minute will take to fill the tank.

Solution:

Height of the cylinder = 6 ft

Diameter of the cylinder = 6 ft

Radius of the cylinder = 6 ÷ 2 = 3 ft

Volume of the cylinder = πr²h

                                      = 3.14 × 3² × 6

Volume of the cylinder = 169.56 cubic feet

Time taken to fill 3 cubic feet of water = 1 minute

Time taken to fill 169.56 cubic feet of water = \frac{169.56}{3}

                                                                         = 56.52 minute

                                                                         = 57 minute

Hence 57 minute will take to fill the tank.

Kate has a kite with the dimensions shown below. What is the value of X?
sergij07 [2.7K]
Hey there! :D

We will use the properties of similar triangles to figure this out.

We will use two triangles inside the kite, with sides with the value of "x".

Smaller triangle:

Smaller side= 11

Bottom side= x

Bigger triangle:

Smaller side= x

Bottom side= 25

\frac{11}{x} = \frac{x}{25}

Cross multiply.

25*11= 275

x*x= x^{2}

Find the square root.

√275= 16.583....

Or 5√11.

I hope this helps!
