I'll just explain to you what a simile and a metaphor is and give you some examples.

Simile is a figure of speech used to compare to things using the word like or as.
Example:
You are as brave as a lion. (You and lion)
She moves like the wind. (She and wind)

Metaphor is also a figure of speech comparing two different things subtly without the words like or as.
Example:
Her voice is music to my ears.
The exam was a breeze.
