The difference between omr and ocr is (The responsibility of OMR is only to tell whether a mark is present or not in a predetermined area. OCR also detects the presence of marks but its task doesn’t stop there. OCR also needs to determine what that mark is. It is usually limited to a single language to limit the possible characters and enhance the accuracy. )

Aleonysh [2.5K]

Answer:

Explanation:

The question above is missing many details and are actually various questions in one. I will answer each one seperately below...

A. The piece of code to get the ID in this code snippet that needs to replace XXX would be the following ... System.out.println("Student ID: " + s.getID());

B. A static main() can declare and create objects. Once these objects are created their instance methods can then be called.

C. Integer score1 = 72;

    int score2 = 85;

    Character grade = 'C';

     In the above code snippet, the information stored in score1, score2, and grade are the following... obj reference, 85, obj reference. This is becasue both Integer and Character are classes and the values being passed to their variables are referencing that object class, while score2 is a primitive type of int and is therefore simply a number.

D. The statement that is true is ... Contents of a Double instance can be modified after initialization. Objects can be modified by calling its setter methods after initializing it.

kramer

Answer:

b. the HIV infection.

Explanation:

Around the 1970s, an increase in the use of airplane travel led to fears that an epidemic would leapfrog the globe much faster than the pandemics such as tuberculosis, leprosy, smallpox, trachoma, anthrax, scabies, etc., that were evident during the Middle Ages, fears that were later confirmed by the worldwide spread of the HIV infection, beginning in the 1970s in the United States of America.

STD is an acronym for sexually transmitted disease and it can be defined as diseases that are easily transmissible or contractable from another person through sexual intercourse. Thus, STD spread from an infected person to an uninfected person while engaging in unprotected sexual intercourse. Some examples of STDs are gonorrhea, chlamydia, syphilis, HIV, etc.

HIV is an acronym for human immunodeficiency virus and it refers to a type of disease that destabilizes or destroy the immune system of a person, thus, making it impossible for antigens to effectively fight pathogens.

Generally, contracting STDs has a detrimental effect to a patient because it causes an opening (break) or sore in the body of the carrier (patient) and as such making them vulnerable to diseases that are spread through bodily fluids e.g human immunodeficiency virus (HIV), Hepatitis, staphylococcus, AIDS, etc.
