Stels [109]

Answer: Disaster is a natural calamity which affects the lives of the human beings and other living beings. It destroys the property, agricultural field, forests, and causes other types of harms.

Explanation:

Natural disaster reduction:

Main duty of the state is to take preventive measures to prevent the loss of life and property. This can be done by creation of shelter homes in cyclone prone areas, collection of disaster fund, collaborating with the government to seek help during calamity, storage of food, water, and other requirements during disaster, creation of strong walls near the expected flood, and others.

Precaution: Conduction of mock drills, pre-planning between government and the public to reduce the severity of the natural hazards, precautions that can be taken at the family level that is how one can protect all members of the family during hazard by developing infrastructure of the house that remains secure during hazard, instructing children not to use electric switches during any hazard as there are chances of getting shock.

Awareness: Government should create awareness about natural hazards among people in hazard prone or non-hazard prone areas. Some people should volunteer in teaching people precautions and preparations that can be done to save themselves during hazards like the use of raincoat instead of cotton clothes during flood, stay away from electric poles, making a preparatory bag that contain food, water, medicines, money and others.

Will you be estimating the gross energy or the physiologic energy value of a peanut when you do the calculations for this experi
Nata [24]
I believe it would be the gross energy.
Gross energy could be easily estimated by calculating the mass of fat , protein, and carbs. In order to estimate the physiologic energy, you need to measure the exact calories that the subject would most likely spent in doing all of his/her activities. This kind of thing would be really difficult to do in an experiment.

The majority of cactuses are found in the hottest, driest areas on Earth. However, certain species of cacti grow in rain forests, on mountain ranges, and even in Alaska and parts of Antarctica. 2x=y+7 rewrite the equation in slope intercept form
serious [3.7K]

Slope intercept form is y = mx + b where M represents the slope and B represents the y-intercept.

2x = y + 7

Subtract 7 from both sides so that the y-variable is isolated by itself just like in the general form. Then simplify.

2x - 7 = y + 7 - 7

2x - 7 = y or y = 2x - 7

Wrong category though.

musickatia [10]

Answer:

The Biopsychosocial Approach provides this integrated understanding.

Explanation:

The Biopsychosocial Approach considers the union of various factors: biological, psychological, social and even cultural ones when trying to understand the approach to an individual's well being and health.

It integrates the understanding of associative learning through genetic predispositions (biological), cultural preferences (cultural) and the predictability of certain associations.

It looks at the individual taking all these factors into account.
