The coffee shop used 52 pounds of Type A coffee.

Step-by-step explanation:

Cost of Type A coffee per pound = 5.25

Cost of Type B coffee per pound = 4.10

Total pounds used in blend = 142

Total cost = 642.00

Let,

x be the pounds of Type A coffee used

y be the pounds of Type B coffee used

According to given statement;

x+y=142      Eqn 1

5.25x+4.10y=642.00   Eqn 2

Multiplying Eqn 1 by 4.10

4.10(x+y=142)\\4.10x+4.10y=582.20\ \ \ Eqn\ 3

Subtracting Eqn 3 from Eqn 2

(5.25x+4.10y)-(4.10x+4.10y)=642.00-582.20\\5.25x+4.10y-4.10x-4.10y=59.80\\1.15x=59.80\\

Dividing both sides by 1.15

\frac{1.15x}{1.15}=\frac{59.80}{1.15}\\x=52\\

The coffee shop used 52 pounds of Type A coffee.

Answer: 28.26

Step-by-step explanation:

What your looking for is called the annulus (or the difference of two concentric circles). You can find the annulus by subtracting the area of the inner circle from the area of the outer circle. Volume of a circle= πr²

You are given the diameter in these problems, so you need radius.

For the first circle (8 in one) :

8/2=4    r=4

A=3.14(4)²

A=50.24

For the second one (10 in one) :

10/2=5   r=5

A=3.14(5)²

A=78.5

To find the measure of the annulus, you subtract those numbers, getting 28.26

5.<br>Find the sum of all two - digit natural numbers which are divisible by 3.
kykrilka [37]

Answer:

1665

Step-by-step explanation:

This is AP, where:

  • First term is: 12= 3*4
  • Last term is: 99= 3*33
  • Common difference is: 3
  • Number of terms is: 33- 3= 30 (because the 4th term is included)
  • S=1/2*30(12+99)= 1665

The sum of all two - digit natural numbers which are divisible by 3 is 1665
