The number of loaves that can be made with 2 1/2 bananas is 1 loaf.

The number of loaves that can be made with 5 bananas is 2 loaves.

The amount of bananas needed to make 4 loaves is 10 bananas.

This is a ratio problem, so all you must do is multiply the one number by how much it takes to get to the base ratio with the secondary number.

Hope this helps, if not or if you need a more detailed answer, comment below please!!!

I need help solving for y and ploting it in the graph
Ket [755]
Basically y would be whatever the number x is times 2, so -2 to the second power is -4, -1 to the second power is -1, 0 to the second power is 0, 1 to the second power is 1 and 2 to the second power is 4. now all you have to do is graph those points and you’re good!

Solve 3(4m - 6) = 12 and explain each step
Studentka2010 [4]
Distribute the 3 to 4m and 6. this makes 12m-18=12
now add 18 to both sides.
12m=30
now divide by 12
m=30/12

In a right triangle abc, cd is an altitude, such that ad=bc. Find ac, if ab=3 cm, and cd= square root 2 cm.
Mashcka [7]

      <u>ΔACB</u>                                               <u>ΔCDA</u>

AC² + BC² = AB²                           AD² + CD² = AC²

          BC² = AB² - AC²                 BC² + CD² = AC²        (AD=BC is given)

                                                                 BC² = AC² - CD²

                         AB² - AC² = AC² - CD²         (both sides were = to BC²)

                         AB² + CD² = 2AC²

                         (3)² + (√2)² = 2AC²            (AB=3 and CD=√2 were given)

                          9  +   2    = 2AC²

                               11        = 2AC²

                                \frac{11}{2}        = AC²

                                \sqrt{\frac{11}{2} }     = AC

                                \frac{11\sqrt{2} }{2}      = AC
