Hello!

This statement is true.

Why?

Frostbite is a condition where a part of your body is exposed to the cold. If it’s exposed for too long, your skin and underlying tissue starts freezing. Your fingers, toes, and feet are commonly affected.

Answer:

False. Frostbite doesn't occur when ice crystals form in the space between cells true or false

Explanation:

At the cellular level frostbite occurs in two ways the first one is by freezing the tissue and the second when the dead cells are replaced by the fibroblasts. fibroblasts are the common bonding cell between tissue. So, even though frostbite doesn't form in the space between the cells, they have a direct impact in the tissue making the cells die and forcing them to be replaced by the cells that provide tissue a bond in an attempt to heal the tissue.
