Answer:

from the splitting of water molecule.

Explanation:

The splitting of water molecules by sunlight is called Photolysis. This is the first reaction in photosynthesis; which occurs by catalysis of enzymes of Photo system 11.

It involves the splitting of water molecules into;

hydrogen ion/protons.

Oxygen

and electron.

Oxygen is the by product liberated into the atmosphere, for animals to inhale for the process of cellular respiration. This is the source of oxygen fro cellular respiration in animals.

the hydrogen ions combined with electrons from photosystem 1 to reduce NADP .The latter is used to reduce C02 to form carbohydrate in light independent reaction

Evaluate the lab and data collected. What type of transport occurred in this lab? Explain your answer, including evidence from y
andreev551 [17]

To know what type of transport occurred the lab and collected data are needed. As they are not present an explanation of the different transport's types, will be given.

Water, proteins, ions, and molecules of different sizes can pass through the cell membrane using different types of transports. The transport that each molecule uses depends on the concentration, size, and polarity.

We can classify the types of transport as active and passive.

Passive transport is the one that does not need energy to happen since the molecules move from a place of high concentration to a one of lower concentration. In this group, we have:

 • Simple diffusion: small molecules in high concentration on one side of the membrane; move to the other side due to the difference in concentration.
 • Osmosis: water passes through the membrane from a place of low concentration of molecules to one of high concentration. Water moves inside or outside the cell to valance the concentration of solutes on both sides of the membrane.
 • Facilitated diffusion: uses proteins to transport large molecules, ions, or hydrophobic molecules from one side to the other. In this type of transport, we have proteins that form channels so those hydrophobic molecules can pass through the lipid membrane, and carrier proteins, which binds to a specific molecule changing their shape and transporting the molecule.

Active transport needs the energy to transport molecules; since it goes against the gradient's concentration. In this group, we have:

 • Sodium-Potassium pump: uses ATP to move sodium outside the cell and potassium to the inside. The ions with this transport go to where they are most concentrated.

In conclusion, there are different types of transport; they depend on the concentration or type of molecule. To find out what mechanism of transport occurred in the lab, look at the components of the experiment and analyze which of these transports could be present.

babymother [125]

Answer:

The correct answer is: major depressive disorder.

Explanation:

Major depressive disorder, commonly known as depression, is a mental condition that is characterized by continuous internal pain, low mood, low self-esteem and loss of interest in activities that were enjoyable before.

This disorder can be heavily discapacitating as it can interfere in normal life and work-life as well, while also producing abnormal eating and sleeping habits.

Connie has lost her husband a few months ago and she is not recovering from the pain that it caused her, which makes her deeply unhappy, not interested in anything and incapable of performing common tasks on her daily life. These are all symptoms of depression.

5. What is the correct description of the genotype for individuals that express the trait cystic fibrosis?
vekshin1

Answer:

homozygous recessive

Explanation:

Cystic fibrosis is a recessive genetic disorder. It means that the trait is caused due to the presence of a recessive allele. The recessive alleles are expressed only in homozygous recessive genotypes. Individuals that express the disorder cystic fibrosis should have two copies of a recessive allele of the gene, that is, the genotype should be homozygous recessive.

If "C" allele is the normal healthy allele and "c" allele is cystic fibrosis allele, the genotype of the affected individual would be "cc".
