1. Which blood types are dominant?

Biology
1 answer:

Answer: 1). A and B are both dominant (because A and B are codominant to one another)

2). E. All of the above

Explanation:

1). From the image above, A and B are both dominant because they are equally expressed when they occur in a pair (when they occur as blood type AB), also they are dominant because each of them expressed itself when it occurs in a pair with a recessive allele (IAi and IBi).

2). The children of a father with A blood and a mother with B blood will have all the four blood types: A, B, AB, and O. If each parent has a recessive allele, that is if each parent is heterozygous for his/her blood type (IAi for the father and IBi for the mother), the cross between them will produce all the four possible blood types.

How does the anatomy of a female rat differ from that of a human?
gulaghasi [49]
A difference between female rats and humans is that a rat's vagina connects to the urogenital aperture and humans do not have a urogenital aperture. The vagina is a short, muscular canal located below the urethra. Additionally, the rat's vagina is much shorter in length than the human vagina. In female rats, the ovaries which produces egg cells and female hormones, are small and located just below the kidneys inside the peritoneal membrane. Also the shape of the uterus in rats is different than in humans. In rats it is Y-shaped and in humans it's a pear shaped organ.

If 240 mL of water is added to 13 mL of 5.0 M NaCl solution,
zavuch27 [327]

Answer:

The correct answer is 0.26 M

Explanation:

The initial concentration of NaCl solution (Ci) is 5.0 M. The initial volume of the solution (Vi) is 13 mL. The final volume is the addition of 240 mL to 13 mL (Vf= 13 mL + 240 mL= 253 mL).

In order to calculate the final concentration of the solution (Cf) we can use the following expression:

Ci x Vi= Cf x Vf

This mathematical expression is often used to calculate concentrations in dilution procedures. So, we introduce Ci, Vi an Vf in the expression and we calculate Cf:

Cf= (Ci x Vi)/Vf= (5.0 M x 13 mL)/253 mL= 0.257 M ≅ 0.26 M

What are some non examples of microclimate?
-Dominant- [34]

Answer:

Microclimates exist, for example, near bodies of water which may cool the local atmosphere, or in heavy urban areas where brick, concrete, and asphalt absorb the sun's energy, heat up, and re-radiate that heat to the ambient air: the resulting urban heat island is a kind of microclimate.
